The webinar training for marketing and communications working for missions organizations continues in 2022 in summer and winter. These are free to anyone that is a Missio Nexus member or part of a Missio Nexus member organization. A small fee is all that is required for those not in Missio Nexus.

  • Communications and the mission of God: Aligning Communications with God’s Purposes – Thursday | August 18, 2022 | 1:00pm EDT – Presented by Florence Wamae and Dawn Kruger of SIL International.

    As with everything, our theology ought to inform our practice. In some arenas that comes easily. Our ecclesiology prompts us to participate in the life of a local church. Our soteriology compels us to share the message of salvation with others. Often, however, we fall short of developing a robust missiology that informs our work as Christian communicators. What, exactly, IS God’s mission and how does it intersect with our job?

    In this webinar we will unpack a working understanding of the mission of God, review the elements of effective communication, and then combine the two, exploring together how our missiology ought to both influence and be reflected in our communication and marketing endeavors.

Print-on-demand technology and distribution, as well as the ubiquity of ebook platforms, have made publishing accessible both to individuals and organizations with low-risk, low-cost platforms.
