Two Communications Webinars Coming Up

Missio Nexus has invited me to coordinate two upcoming webinars aimed at growing the knowledge and skills of mission agency staff engaged in communications and marketing. Our Diverse Audiences

The core of any good communication efforts is thinking about your audience. The world has changed. Communicators today have the privilege and responsibility to communicate to a highly globalized and therefore very complex audience but also, with increased access to the internet, to reach a very wide audience within a very short time in every part of the world – from the most largest most modernized cities to the most reserved and secluded corners of the world.

Webinar – A Diverse Audience in a Changing World

The first guest presented webinar for missions communicators is now available here and on the le Motif YouTube channel. This 30 minute webinar was presented by Florence Wamae on “A Diverse Audience in a Changing World.”

Missions in a COVID Crisis: Journalism Implications

Missions journalists “are an unseen force which remains largely unrecognized, misunderstood and undervalued,” yet the global Church desperately needs to develop a coherent, global narrative of God at work in the world today through missions.

Telling Your Network Story Online Course (4 weeks)

A couple of months ago I did a workshop-styled webinar through visionSynergy called Telling Your Network Story. I have taken what I developed for the webinar and created a free e-course on the same topic. The course will run from 20 July to 21 August 2020.
