An article from le Motif as well as the webinars for marketing and communications staff that le Motif hosts on the Missio Nexus platform were both featured in the Missio Nexus 2021 annual report (called Anthology).

Le Motif selected to lead editorial for EMQ

Missio Nexus has selected le Motif to lead the editorial aspect of Evangelical Missions Quarterly (EMQ) starting with the April 2022 edition of the journal. As a part of this agreement, I will serve as fifth editor of EMQ.

Update on the 2021 Mission Leaders Conference

From September 22-24, 2021, I attended the Mission Leaders Conference in Dallas, TX. This was the first time that I’ve gone to a conference in person since the pandemic began!

Missio Nexus has invited me to coordinate four more upcoming webinars aimed at growing the knowledge and skills of mission agency staff engaged in communications and marketing. These are free to anyone that is a Missio Nexus member or part of a Missio Nexus member organization. Over that time, I discovered that the job of a missions communicator is more than just getting stories of missions out or making materials to promote a mission organization’s vision and programs. An essential part of our work also fits into WEA Global Member Care Network Coordinator Harry Hoffman’s category of “people helpers” – a group Harry explains is an untapped ocean of resources to care for staff in the missions community.
